Fees and Insurance

Fees

Intro call (15 minutes): No cost

This phone or Zoom call will provide us with the opportunity to see how we can work together. It will allow me to learn a bit about what your needs are and for you to get a sense of what to expect.

First session - Initial Intake (60 minutes): $285

Individual session (50 minutes): $250

Longer sessions can be provided with prior discussion.

Insurance

While I am not in-network with any insurance providers, I do provide superbills. A superbill requires a diagnosis and will allow clients to seek potential out-of-network reimbursement. Clients are encouraged to verify their out-of-network insurance benefits before initiating care. Clients will be responsible for independently coordinating superbill submissions to their insurance.

The psychotherapy CPT codes that I commonly use on superbills are:

90791 (First session - Initial intake)

90834 (38-52 minute session)

90837 (53+ minute session)

Payment

I accept payment via credit card, debit card, or FSA/HSA. Clients will be asked to provide payment information prior to their first session. Payment will be automatically billed the night after each session.

Good Faith Estimate

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.

You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 800-985-3059.
